Why we became Mission Trajectory Consulting

A man in a light gray shirt holding a microphone and speaking while on stage with a presentation screen behind him.

Since 2021, this work lived under the name 360Philanthropy. That name reflected a holistic view of philanthropy, looking at the full picture of how money, time, relationships, and power shape nonprofit impact.

As the work grew, it became clear that our clients were coming to us for something even more specific: help setting direction, making decisions, and moving their missions forward with intention. The work was less about a static “360 view” and more about creating a clear path from where you are to where you want to go.

Mission Trajectory Consulting reflects that shift.

  • Mission centers the purpose, people, and communities you serve.

  • Trajectory speaks to movement, momentum, and the arc of change over time.

The curved path in the logo nods to a launch, but it is grounded in real-world constraints and opportunities. It reflects the kind of support we provide: practical, equity centered strategy that helps nonprofits navigate complexity and still move forward.

What has not changed is the core: a commitment to equity, thoughtful philanthropy, and candid partnership with nonprofit leaders. The new name simply gives clearer language to the kind of work we are already doing together.
